The first India edition of Adobe Executive Forum offered business executives an insight into developing and driving a comprehensive enterprise mobility strategy.
Following on from similar forums held in Sydney and Hong Kong, the forum, which concluded here, provided an opportunity for business leaders to discuss and deliberate on future technology strategies for their organizations.
Adobe Executive Forum was conceived for businesses to gauge the state of enterprise mobility maturity of their organizations as well as to discover how other companies have gained digital advantage in the mobile enterprise.
It was an exclusive convergence of business leaders – CIOs, CMOs, CDOs, Digital Strategists and Heads of Mobility. The sessions at the forum discussed how the transformation caused by the widespread adoption and penetration of mobile devices, is forcing organizations to go beyond the question of whether they need mobility, to instead asking how they should be leveraging mobile to improve the business.
Speakers at the event included industry thought leaders and visionaries, who discussed emerging trends in the digital space, and also unveiled the findings of the IDC APeJ Enterprise Mobility Survey, April 2015.
Shiv Putcha, Associate Director, IDC, indicated that the true value of mobility comes when organizations start to ‘mobilize’ their business processes and applications, and that a ‘mobile-first’ enterprise can see tangible improvements in the way it interacts with their employees, customers and partners by raising productivity and competitive differentiation, delivering innovation and enriching customer experience.
Umang Bedi, Managing Director – South Asia, and Scott Castle, Director, Creative Cloud, Adobe, talked about how brand experience is critical for businesses to think holistically in order to understand the entirety of the customer experience. They said the two most important words that describe consumer expectations are ‘consistent and continuous’. They talked about Adobe’s cutting edge solutions across Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, Marketing Cloud and Digital Publishing that enable enterprise transformation by mobilizing applications and processes, innovative marketing and optimizing digital investments; improving employee productivity and operational efficiencies and influencing and driving creativity in the DNA of the enterprise.
