Airtel launches 4G services in Sri City, Salem

Bharti Airtel Limited, Airtel announced the commercial launch of its high speed 4G services (also called LTE) in Sri City – the first planned integrated business city in the state of Andhra Pradesh and salem.

Airtel 4G’s high speed wireless broadband experience will allow customers to enjoy uninterrupted HD video streaming, superfast uploading and downloading of movies, music and images. Airtel 4G is available to customers across a range of smart devices including mobile phones, dongles, 4G hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles.

Commenting on the launch of 4G services at Sri City, Venkatesh Vijayraghavan, Chief Executive Officer, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Bharti Airtel Ltd said, “I am delighted to announce the launch of 4G services in Sri City. Following a compelling response in Chennai, Pondy, Vellore, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Tirupur & Tirunelveli – blazing Airtel 4G speeds are now available for customers in Salem.
