When and how did you move to Cloud Business?

We moved into the cloud business very recently. Earlier we were using the cloud for our own consumption.

What are the different Cloud services do you offer?

We currently offer different services on AWS, Azure and Acronis cloud platforms- including Hosting, Data Backup and DR, Storage, Cloud cost optimization services etc

What sort of changes have you done to move to the cloud within the organization in terms of Team, skill set, infrastructure, and others?

We deployed our internal applications on the public cloud as the 1st step towards cloud adoption. This allowed us to understand the nuances of hosting applications in the cloud.

Additionally, we have embarked on a cloud certification program for our technical and sales resources.

How does Crayon Software help you to grow your business and customers?

Crayon Software has been our trusted partner for all licensing requirements / OEM partnerships.
It supports us on the commercial front and also in managing OEM relationships. In customer cases with specific requirements, Crayon also helps us with technical expertise.

How your old and new customers adopting the new technology and moving to the cloud?

Every organization today has some exposure to the cloud. Some of our customers have deployed 3rd party SAAS applications in their organizations, while some are actively hosting a few of their applications on the cloud. Especially since the pandemic, the discussions to move to the cloud have increased.

How many customers you have, who are taking Cloud solutions and what are their different verticals?

We are a young company in this domain. We currently have customers, who are startups, in the pilot phase of their journey. Current verticals include online learning, IT and ITES, B2B SaaS products.

What are the different challenges did you face in this journey?

Our focus is on reaching out to new customers and helps them in their cloud adoption journey.
However a lot of time, the customers are not aware of the application dependencies / TCO before moving to the cloud. It is important to discuss with customers and make them aware of which applications are suitable to shift to the cloud.

What is your overall growth being a Cloud Partner?

As a cloud partner, we are exploring new ways to solve our customer’s issues. Building capabilities to solve new issues helps us reach out to more organizations.

What are your future goals?

We want to establish ourselves as a preferred cloud partner for startups / mid-market companies who want to adopt Cloud to transform their businesses.
