Brocade appoints Swapna Bapat as director

Brocade has appointed Swapna Bapat as the new director of Systems Engineering for India.

Before joining Brocade she was associated with Cisco India where she looked after enterprise networking portfolio.

Based in Bengaluru, she will be responsible for leading Brocade’s technical developments in data center and software networking, as well as developing best practices and excellence for systems engineering in India.

She will report to Orcun Tezel, senior director of Systems Engineering for Asia Pacific of Brocade.

Prior to Cisco India, Bapat worked with Alcatel Lucent, Ciena, and Juniper Networks, where she drove market adoption for technologies including IPTV, mobility, and network security.
