1. What are the products/solutions in Busy Infotech’s portfolio as of today?
Busy Infotech offers three editions of GST Ready BUSY Accounting Software, i.e., Basic, Standard, and Enterprise. While the Basic edition caters to the needs of small businesses by providing complete bookkeeping, invoicing, basic inventory and statutory reports, Standard edition incorporates additional features such as Quotation/ Order / Challan processing, POS Billing, Batch and Serial No., Parameter-wise stock management, Auto E-Way Bill generation, Auto GSTR-2A Reconciliation and direct SMS/Email facilities.
The Enterprise edition, however, is primarily designed for organizations with multiple branches/locations or large volumes of data. With modules like the exhaustive control mechanism, alerts/triggers, online report viewing, customer inquiry/support management, and automatic data sync among multiple branches; this edition furnishes its users with a host of features that are mandatory for these types of enterprises.
2. What are the factors that differentiate Busy Infotech Pvt. Ltd. from other players in this segment?
In this industry, most of the software is either meant for back-end accounting or front-end operations. BUSY covers both of these aspects with equal ease and seamless integration.
3. Which are the addressable target segments for each of these solutions— concerning large enterprises, mid-sized enterprises, SMBs and MSMEs?

With BUSY Basic edition, small business owners get simple accounting solution which understands their business needs in a language they are comfortable with. It has a low learning curve and does not require any formal accounting knowledge. The Busy Infotech basic edition has been designed keeping these types of users in mind.
Small & Medium-Sized Businesses, apart from back-end accounting, need a day to day operations management also. With the help, BUSY Standard edition users can efficiently manage their complete workflow in BUSY with seamless integration with back-end accounting.
Enterprises need collaborative software which can be used concurrently by all users at all branches/locations with sufficient checks & controls to avoid any misuse. BUSY Enterprise edition provides exhaustive features to manage multiple branch/locations efficiently from a single point. Business owners can easily delegate all operations with all exceptions being raised to him automatically.
4. How BUSY is helping businesses run their operations in GST Era?
With the introduction of GST, the way of maintaining accounts has changed altogether. Now each transaction is linked with GST in one way or another. Apart from routine Sales/Purchase transactions, it is tough to understand the impact of GST on other transactions. We are focusing on all type of marketing activities including TV, Newspaper, Digital marketing and OOH. Apart from this our channel partners conduct regular workshops in their respective areas to increase product awareness and training of end users. Separate workshops are held for end users and CA’s as well.
6. How is BUSY’s channel structured and how is that mapped to these strategies?
Channel partners form an integral part of this business. GST ready software cannot be sold without channel partners as it requires a lot of training and support. We have a dedicated channel partner network of 450+ partners all across the country who sell and support Busy Infotech to end users. Moreover, our business development team is always on the lookout for new channel partners in unrepresented territories and provide sales and training support to our existing Partners.
7. In 2019, what are the three key initiatives/focus areas planned for BUSY’s GTM?
Apart from providing user-friendly solutions, we will focus on Busy Infotech product awareness and training activities and customer support to maximize our reach and provide quality services to our customers. GST has opened up new markets and segments. We grew by almost 200% in last year, and we hope to maintain the pace in coming years also.
