Computer Age Management Services Pvt. Ltd (CAMS) has announced the appointment of Anuj Kumar, an IBM veteran, as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), with immediate effect.
To be based in Chennai, reporting to N K Prasad, President & CEO, Anuj Kumar would drive CAMS management objectives to further strengthen the technology transformation architecture and fortify existing relationships with mutual funds. Anuj Kumar will lead the asset management services with an expanded service suite, driving innovation and leadership in the areas of Service quality, Analytics & Business Intelligence. He will also drive the overall Digital agenda.
Anuj will additionally spearhead the company’s foray in serving global clients & fund managers and bring his vast experience to expand CAMS’s presence in overseas markets.

In his earlier stints, Kumar was the Country Head for IBM’s GPS business in India since 2011. In 2014 he joined Concentrix, where he was instrumental in transitioning the India-to-India business from IBM, after the divestiture of the CRM BPO business was announced in the year 2014. Concentrix announced significant market share expansion and several new logo long-term services contracts in India over the past two years, under his leadership.
He is an alumnus of IIM Kolkata, graduated from BIT Ranchi in Mechanical Engineering. Over his two decade plus career, he has worked with Godrej Appliances, ICICI group, Daksh, IBM and Concentrix.
