Rizwan Mohammed, Founder & CEO, FIS Clouds, Hyderabad, is a Cloud Solutions Provider. Here he talks about the growth of his Cloud business in the last one year.
What was the revenue growth % of your business in 2021?
Rizwan - We actually gained from the lockdown and remote work coming into vogue. More and more enterprises and smaller businesses wanted Cloud solutions which we were able to install for them. We actually grew 10 times during the last one year. This amounts to a growth of 1000% in a year's time.
What % of this revenue growth came from Cloud solutions?
Rizwan - We are primarily a Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP). Thus, almost 80% of our growth came from Cloud related business.
What aspects of Cloud segments were most in demand in the last year?
Rizwan - The entire range of Cloud portfolio had different levels of clients. We got maximum clients in the fields of Big Data/ Data Analytics, Cloud Security, Cloud Migration. Since Cloud migration automatically involves concerns about Cloud security, we could offer it along with Cloud migration. Data analytics and Big Data management is another important aspect of working on Clouds. Our clients showed a lot of interest in this segment.
What % of your clients came from the non-metro areas and from the MSME sector?
Rizwan - Our clients were primarily big enterprises from the metropolitan areas. However, by the beginning of 2021, the smaller businesses lying in non-metro areas also began to realise the value of Cloud migration and they felt the need for the solutions we provide. Hence, we got some inquiries from such clients as well. We managed to offer our solutions to less than 10% smaller businesses in the non-metro areas, out of our overall clientele cachement pool.
