The company made its initial public offering in June 1998, trading under Nasdaq ticker symbol CTSH at $10.00 per share. Cognizant has since grown to be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index, an index comprised of the largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange. The company has grown from a $60 million software development and maintenance Services Company to a $15 billion global professional services leader.

This year, in addition to being ranked among the Fortune 200, Cognizant has been recognized as one of Corporate Responsibility Magazine’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens of 2018 and named to Barron’s 100 Most Sustainable Companies list.
