CRAMAT, a mobile tracking and monitoring solution, helped Mohali City win the Skoch Gold Swachh Bharat Award held recently. The award was of late conferred in a ceremony at Hyderabad.
An application developed by Webrosoft Solutions, CRAMAT has been instrumental in enabling Mohali Municipal Corporation’s GIS based cleaning operations. The GIS based Mohali City Sweeping Monitoring System is built on top of the CRAMAT platform to track attendance, uniforms, proper equipment, safety gear and performance of field personnel in Mohali city. This system uses smart phone and cloud based tracking technologies that send tamper proof pictures, their corresponding locations and capture times to the Operations Command Center via the internet in real time.
CRAMAT is a cloud and mobile based application, which runs on Dell Technologies’ Core Compute Infrastructure and is a key solution that has been deployed and created a differentiator for its users. The application uses mobile camera and information based on latitude & longitude mapping with a time stamp to allow cleaning contractors and municipal authorities to have a dashboard view of various cleaning operations across the city.
CRAMAT is now deployed across multiple cities in Punjab, Himachal and Karnataka. The real time monitoring of cleaning operations has improved the effectiveness of cleaning in a very visible manner. The results of the successful implementation have been manifold. The solution has helped in accurate tracking of staff attendance levels, real time reporting at the control center and discipline with respect to basic protocols such as proper uniforms, equipment and quality of work.
