Eaton Inaugurates State-of-the-Art Innovation Center in Pune

Eaton announced the inauguration of its India Innovation Center at Magarpatta City in Pune. The new Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) is a strategic program that is focused on enhancing organizational capabilities by leveraging high-end engineering talent and best-in-class infrastructure. Eaton’s chairman and CEO, Craig Arnold and Ram Ramakrishnan, executive vice president & chief technology officer, Eaton, were present during the inauguration.

The new EIIC is a vertically integrated engineering organization that will deliver complete product design lifecycle management solutions for Eaton’s global businesses. The innovation center currently employs more than 1500 engineers. Sudhakar Potukuchi, vice president – Technology, heads the EIIC.

Commenting on the significance of the EIIC, Eaton’s executive vice president & chief technology officer, Ram Ramakrishnan said, “The EIIC is an integral part of Eaton’s global growth strategy and is in line with Eaton’s commitment to organic growth and achieving global technology leadership through its focus on innovation.”
