Hong Kong-based smartphone brand Elephone has forayed into the Indian market with the launch of its G7 smartphone, the new Elephone G7 is exclusive to Snapdeal in the country.
The all-new Elephone G7 has a 5.5-inch HD (720p) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) operating system. Under the hood is a 1.4GHz octa-core Mediatek MTK6592M processor, backed by 1GB of RAM.This smartphone comes with 8GB of built-in storage and has for storage expansion up to 64GB via microSD cards.
Elephone G7 has a 13MP camera with LED flash on the back and an 8MP camera in front. The connectivity suite of the smartphone is pretty standard and consists of 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0.
The smartphone has a 2,050mAh battery and metallic frame, measures 5.5mm in thickness, weighs 156grams and comes in black, white and gold colours. At Rs 8,888, Elephone G7 competes against Lenovo A7000, Micromax YU Yureka, and Samsung Galaxy Core Prime 4G.
