Sagar Patidar, CEO, Primathon is an IIT alumnus and makes tech solutions for enterprises and MSMEs. Here he talks about his work to us.
How does new-age software development help in developing the IT sector of India?
Sagar Patidar - Over time, the Indian software industry has progressed from providing low-cost back-office assistance to driving the digital transformation goal forward in multinational corporations.
The current generation of Indian software entrepreneurs is concentrating on developing platforms and products for both the domestic and international markets.
The Indian software sector has accelerated the country's adoption of digital technologies. The business has played a critical role in giving digital IDs to more than one billion individuals in the country, allowing for more efficient service delivery across industries like banking, healthcare, and education. Millions of small and medium businesses (SMBs) benefit from the new generation of Indian software companies.
What are the challenges in bringing offline businesses onboard with tech-services like yours? How do you resolve these challenges?
Sagar Patidar - Digital transformation is a journey that businesses take to rethink their business model and intentionally adopt current digital technology that may change their company operations, culture, and overall customer experience. This could mean adopting more cloud-based technology, improving data usage, adopting newer employee working patterns, or even expanding online channels.
Throughout this journey, we address challenges in this journey by allocating time and resources to research customer requirements, emerging technological advancements, and define the problem statement before considering viable solutions. We also use clear communication to communicate employee expectations, roles, and responsibilities, as well as their role in the overall transformation vision, and, most importantly, we seek input and feedback from our employees and customers on how our digital transformation efforts are aligning with our strategies and goals.
What has been the response from the MSMEs in the IT sector to adopting your tech-services? Give statistics, charts, figures, etc.
Sagar Patidar - Only 34% of Indian MSMEs use digital ways to engage with employees, customers, and suppliers due to a lack of understanding and expertise about digital tools for communication.
Our consumers have given us positive feedback. We make an effort to design and deliver solutions that are both scalable and simple. At the moment, we're still working towards it.
How has been the performance of your business in the last 1 year? What have been the services most in demand?
Sagar Patidar - We have been growing and expanding. We've built capacity to support our customers with big data analytics, data science, and Web3 technologies over the last 1.5 years. In the data analytics domain, we delivered use cases such as consumer behaviour analytics, smart communication through intelligent user segmentation, image to text, voice analytics, etc. We also provided application cases such as smart contract development, centralised and decentralised trading systems, and so on. We're increasing our Web3 capabilities and will be launching a dedicated brand in the near future.
We are very bullish on Web3 right now since we believe blockchain is indeed the web's and fintech's future. We intend to set the pace. We're dedicatedly working to grow and scale our blockchain capacity, and we'll be launching an independent crypto software development company brand soon.
