“Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix NetScaler have provided our employees the freedom to work from anywhere, have reduced IT costs and secured our enterprise data. We can now control the delivery of all enterprise and cloud services, and maximize the end-user experience for all, including mobile clients,” said Rajesh Saboo, head, IT Services, Future Group
Vishal Khare, director, Emerging Markets/Partner Led Business, India Subcontinent, said, “A long-term plan for deployment of a virtual infrastructure over a traditional desktop environment is the key to ensuring a higher RoI and continued success in a competitive market. But a successful deployment also relies heavily on IT’s ability to securely deliver apps and data to users on any device. Citrix understands this critical requirement which reflects in our solutions. We are delighted to have been able support Future Group in their transformational journey which will optimize operational efficiency, with many critical and strategic benefits aligning to their business imperatives.”
The Future Group has 30,000 employees spread over 170 cities today with 10–15 new stores opening every month. Through Citrix XenDesktop, the company has been able to dramatically increase the rate of reaction to market requirements while the Citrix Netscaler has simplified the task of managing high volumes of data being generated. Moreover, the company needed a solution not only to secure web applications but also to prevent inadvertent or intentional disclosure of confidential information and maintain compliance with various information security regulations. So far Future Group has migrated 1,000 users to the new solution and is currently focusing on the office locations.
