The GoodDeal.in, online portal for buying, selling and renting is planning several initiatives in order to be at par with other players in the same category. The portal will launch its print and TV commercial in the month of October-November this year. The GoodDeal.in mobile app will be available on both IoS and android from the next month.
“There is a lot of potential in the market and we believe that in due course of time, we will be able to stand along the biggest names in this category. We are competing with well-established players in the market and certainly we are doing everything to become a credible name in the category,” said Rupesh Kumar, country head, GoodDeal.in. The differentiating factor is that our website has a “showcase” feature, which is available for buyers and sellers. The sellers, through this feature, can design their portfolio and advertise all the products from a centralized place. This enables the buying and selling process to be faster and convenient, he added.
The portal, though for everyone, will be targeting housewives specifically. The company is also in the process of sealing a deal with National Geographic channel. The online portal will be sponsoring a few of their programmes related to second-hand goods.
