Hitachi Data Systems partners Avnet Technology

Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, and Avnet Technology Solutions announced a pan-India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) distribution partnership. This extension of a successful 13-year relationship between Hitachi Data Systems and Avnet in the US and EMEA regions marks a focus for both companies on empowering the channel to deliver enterprise-class infrastructure solutions to customers across India and Saarc. The agreement allows Avnet to provide the entire portfolio of Hitachi Data Systems' best-in-class technologies to customers through its strong network of value-added resellers and system integration channel partners.

Avnet's strong India and Saarc presence and value-add services will enable Hitachi Data Systems to grow its business through the channel and will provide the company with additional routes to market for its range of enterprise and mid-market solution offerings. As a key strategic India distribution partner of Hitachi Data Systems, Avnet will benefit from a strengthened storage offering and the opportunity to provide additional solutions such as file and content management, and converged infrastructure solutions to its valued channel partners and their customers.
