Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions announced the release of ZSim2, the advanced emulation software that facilitates fast bar code label printing and enables companies to seamlessly upgrade their existing printers.
The ZSim2 platform is compatible with the Zebra ZPL II printer command language to help businesses upgrade to a fast and user-friendly label-printing solution. Available on most Honeywell printers, ZSim2 is designed for easy installation and configuration, and it prints labels that are virtually identical to those printed by other devices.
“Bar code printers are an integral tool for any business looking to track and trace their goods through a supply chain. If the printing technology being used does not meet their needs, it can compromise productivity and accuracy,” said Tony Repaci, country manager, Australia & New Zealand, Honeywell Sensing and Productivity Solutions.
“ZSim2 offers businesses the flexibility to upgrade to some of the most advanced label printers on the market with ease. Whether it is retail shelf price labelling, office packing and shipping labelling or distribution centre barcode labelling applications, Honeywell has an extensive range of printers focused on solving the toughest printing challenges.”
Based on exhaustive analysis of customer scripts over 15 years, Honeywell’s ZSim2 is well-tested and includes emulation tools to improve printing capabilities like font matching.
