HP India announces 50-day payment holiday for its notebook customers

In a bid to help customers facing cash crunch due to demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, HP India has recently announced payment holiday for all notebook customers. This facility will be available under a special zero-interest EMI scheme and no down payment will be required at the time of purchase.

Scheme to help customers during currency transition due to demonetization

In a bid to help customers facing cash crunch due to demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, HP India has recently announced payment holiday for all notebook customers. This facility will be available under a special zero-interest EMI scheme and no down payment will be required at the time of purchase.

Under the scheme announced, the customers will be able to buy any notebook launched in 2016 and the payment of EMIs will start from January 2017. The scheme covers HP notebooks with the starting price of Rs 23, 190 and will be available at designated 1100 HP stores including exclusive HP World stores across India where finance scheme is available.

“HP always endeavours its customers to provide unique buying experience and we wish to help our customers during the ongoing currency transition”, said Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems, HP India. “We want our valued customers not to face any challenge in buying HP notebooks and have a hassle free experience to own a HP notebook”

This scheme starts with immediate effect and will remain applicable till November 30, 2016 and customers will have the option to choose EMI options basis their requirements.
