I Am A Leader By Birth: Manasi Saha, CEO, Macaws Infotech

A daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, mother and last but not the least, a CEO. She plays all those roles at once. She is a born leader or you can say a super woman. Making a list about Manasi Saha's priorities, her company Macaws Infotech comes on top.

What is the meaning of Macaws Infotech? How do you justify with your business?

Macaw is a name of a colorful and formidably aggressive bird found in North America (specially Mexico) and the Amazon basin of South America. Macaw is a bird, which is renowned for its straightforwardness. It can fly long distances and profound spaces and wants to high fly which is sometimes beyond their capabilities. But though, their aggressiveness supports them to do the same. Sky is the limit for them, as just like Macaws (My company - my extended family) wants to be. This Bird always stays together or in a group. The Team of Macaw sounds “Macaws” is the name of my company. We also believe in togetherness and team work. We also work in a cooperative and collaborative way. Flat Architecture, joint dignified virtues, knowledge sharing and indulgence to touch the sky are the keys to our success.

You were a born leader or forced to become? Becoming a woman leader is a fate or accident?

Yes, I am a born leader, not by an accident. Leading from the front with confidence, integrity, passion, innovation, decisiveness, positivity, Empowerment, Persistent etc. these are the basic  qualities that a leader should possess. I think I have these qualities to some extent. Attitude and desire to reach sky has also played a part in my success. I believe very much in fate. These basic qualities and right opportunities make me successful at the path of my life. No such force can make a leader. It’s such a inborn characteristic.

What are your social and other business associations you are associated with and how active you are there?

Socially I am associated with ABA India, West Bengal society of Autism. And Amrit Somani memorial trust. These are NGO’s works for special kids with Autism. I to not want to explain about the time and money that I spend for social cause. It is bit personal.

How your days are planned in office?

Wake up time: I am an early riser; once I get up I take 30-40 minutes for some workout.

Pre lunch: I used finish the logistics, accounts & statutory job at first half. Take technical and sales review

Post lunch: Discussion with OEM, meeting existing and new Customer’s & distributor’s and review jobs takes part at post lunch session.

What are your hobbies? 

Swimming, driving, watching sports on TV or live (football, cricket)

Cristiano Ronaldo (CR7 ) is my favorite footballer .

5 places in India you want to visit? 

Kashmir , Leh, Manali, Goa  & Tirupati temple.
