IDS unveils interface to Open Office

Bengaluru: IDS Softwares has announced its latest offering, an interface between 'Fortune Suite of Integrated Solutions' and Open Office applications. This feature provides as a viable alternative to MS Office.

The daily reports that form an important part of the operations at a hotel can now be generated using Open Office that can be downloaded from the Internet at free of cost. This means that each hotel can save a fortune by not having to invest in regular Office Applications that can now be replaced by Open Office.

“This interface to Open Office is being launched to help our existing and new clients cut costs. The initiative is most helpful at this time, where every rupee saved is a rupee earned. We are sure that introduction of this facility will benefit our industry immensely,” said Suresh John, MD, IDS Softwares. The reports generated through Open Office will also have a feature to convert into .PDF format for sharing.
