Chitranshu Mahant - Primebook laptops are made in India; around 62% of the laptop's components, such as the motherboard, operating system, charger, packaging consumables, and other parts, are manufactured in India. Primebook is manufactured by VVDN Technologies and Optiemus Electronics Ltd, two companies that have made a name for themselves. It's worth noting that while Primebook is predominantly made in India, some components like processors, memory, and storage are imported from other countries.
What is your resource base? How do you expect to grow? What is your go-to-market strategy?
Chitranshu Mahant - We are a team of 40 experienced professionals based out of New Delhi, with a resource base that includes partnerships with edtech players and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for operating systems. Our products are available only on Flipkart, but we are expanding to other E-commerce channels, direct-to-consumer (D2C) sales, offline retail, education B2B, B2G, exports and OS licensing. Our growth strategy involves expanding our product offerings and marketing efforts while building solid relationships with strategic partners. We plan to license our operating system to other brands outside India, similar to Microsoft's business model, and further increase our reach and brand awareness. Our goal is to establish ourselves as a leading player in the tech industry and continue providing innovative solutions to our customers.
