What challenges do your Cloud and datacentre service providing partners face in their work? How do you strategise to resolve these challenges?
Sameer Redij - Traditionally the partner ecosystem (mentioned above) and resellers/ channel partners, have been accustomed to end customers investing in Capex hardware, buying perpetual on-premise software licenses; and hiring on-premise on payroll dedicated resources skill sets. Thus their previous business strategies and execution were geared towards catering to these needs. ESDS has been working with its pan India partner ecosystem resolving challenges such as - 1. Mindset and business strategy shift: Capex mindset to Opex mindset - Investing in pay as you consume for hardware, software, and people services. 2. Businesses investing in such capital expenditure towards IT is not the core competency of these partners nor their end clients. Thus with our seasoned sales and solution Architect personnel, backed by strong service delivery, managed services, and support team, we provide the required arsenal to these partners for business growth amongst their clients.
