Lenovo's budget smartphone, the A7000 when went on sale earlier in the day, it was sold out in 4 seconds on Flipkart. The phone, like the A6000, was sold in flash sale format, where 30,000 units of the device were up for sale.
The phone was launched last week for Rs.8,999. It is a 5.5-inch phablet, with a 720p resolution. The phablet is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6752M processor and works in tandem with 2GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot, if there's a need to add more storage.
On the back, the phone sports a 8-megapixel camera and a large 2,900Ah battery. The front has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. It is a dual-SIM phone, where one SIM slot supports 4G networks while the other one only works with 3G networks. Both SIMs support 2G connections.
