The Manufacturers' Association for Information Technology (MAIT), has announced the appointment of Rajeev Singh, country head and GM, BenQ India as the chairman of Northern Chapter of MAIT.
Rajeev Singh, chairman, Northern Chapter, MAIT said, "It gives me immense pleasure and pride to be a part of the leadership team of MAIT, facilitating consumption of IT in Education to uplift digital learning will be the key area where I would like to focus upon. Additionally with the support of Government's huge investment plans in Education, Enterprise Mobility and Telecommunications as thrust areas, manufacturing and R&D will be the key to success of our economy."
With 19 years of rich industry experience in sales, marketing, channel and distribution, Rajeev's leadership has nurtured BenQ India's business over the last five years.
Welcoming Rajeev Singh, Anwar Shirpurwala, executive director, MAIT said, "We are delighted to have Rajeev as our new chairman for the Northern Chapter. The vast experience that Rajeev brings to MAIT would help the Association in meeting the growing challenges being faced by the IT Hardware industry in the North Region.
