keeping its sights firmly trained on the global business opportunities,
Netlink Business System continues to strengthen its position by executing large
turnkey projects. As the global economy got worse, Netlink went downhill too
with a 20 percent decline.
Its estimated revenue for FY' 2008-09 was Rs 154 crore.
Considering that small project orders do not add considerably to the
bottomline, Netlink is increasing its focus on large turnkey projects. It is
primarily working on projects that are above Rs 10 crore and is currently
heading 15 such projects across the country.
Working in the domain of business process management (BPM), Netlink aims to
create a niche in BPM in the APAC region by 2010. The company is headed to set
its flag posts in India, Asia Pacific, Middle East and countries in the East.
With education sector running strong as the prime vertical for implementing
campus-based ERP solutions and to ensure development of campus learning
management systems, Netlink plans to follow the opportunities offered here.
It already has seven branches and 18 service centers. It is planning to open
branches in four more cities in an attempt to cover the entire education segment
in India. The location is being decided considering the potential for the
vertical.
