OnePlus door step pick up service hits more cities in India

Following the footsteps of companies like Motorola and Xiaomi, OnePlus too started its door step pick up service for OnePlus smartphone users in Mumbai last month. The company on Thursday expanded the reach of the service to Delhi, Kolkata, and Chennai.

For those unaware, OnePlus door step service is just like Motorola's Moto Xpress and Xiaomi's PickMi door step after sales support. OnePlus users can request for a pick up and drop for servicing their OnePlus phone for free.

The company in a statement said, "After Mumbai; it's time for Chennai, Delhi and Kolkata folks to rejoice! We are thrilled to bring our service to your doorstep. Yes, we are sending OnePlus service guys directly to your place to pick up your device, get it repaired and deliver it back to you!"

The project is still in the pilot stage and as per the company, will be expanding to other cities going forward.

Users can call on 1800 102 8411 to request a pick and drop service. The payment can be done via net banking only.

The Moto Xpress and PickMi service commenced last year for Rs 199 and Rs 189 respectively. Out of these three services Xiaomi boasts the widest availability of its PickMi service in over 550 cities. Moto Xpress however, is limited to Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida as of now.
