"The journey of digital was going on anyway globally. It was being talked about in every media outlet. I think this was the first time when people saw the massive appetite for digital technologies. The world will of course change. People will of course move out of their house. Now more and more people have got used to working online. Now this is becoming their habit. Many times, the first step only is difficult for first time users. So, it’s a very good time for digital anniversary. Digital transformation is not only about how we run our businesses, but it’s about how we run our lives."

--Arun Nathani,   CEO & MD,  Cybage Software

Many partners also gave their comments on this occasion.

"Technology has become part and partial of human life. You can’t imagine life without Digital Technology. After demonetisation, Digital India has gained more popularity. People have started
using digital currency. During Corona spread it has increased very much, as people are afraid of handling  cash and meeting people so virtual meets and webinar are in demand. These are examples of technology’s journey with people.
All sections of society have begun working with digital technology."
--Nalin Patel, Former President, AIT Bangalore & Founder, FITDAK, Karnataka

"My journey business started a little over three decades back with computing on a computer. With the efflux of time the digital journey has transcended out from the Computer Rooms to become integral part of human life, ranging from digital controls to digital media. In generations to come, it will be hard to imagine life without digital presence."

--Saket Kapur, General Secretary, PCAIT

"I started my journey way back in 1989.  Those were the times when letters, printing  press and painters etc were the only alternative.
Today after 30 years, digital revolution has come in technology and design.  Lots of job losses or trades have closed and all have adopted new gadgets in this fast life.  This digital fast moving technology will never end and will keep you on toes for a change."
--Vinod Verma, CEO,   Key Computers, Nagpur
"So far my experience of Digital India is very good.  We're getting very good information from IT industry products, future developments, service aspects etc.   I congratulate the government for the  5th anniversary of Digital India."

"Digital India is a vision to transform our country into a digitally empowered society, leveraging the latest technology trends to provide services to citizens of India.  Our digital transformation journey started almost 10 years back when we moved from IT retail to the IT solution provider business.  It was highly challenging but encouraging journey so far. We have been building our capabilities to provide enterprise solutions and further deploy those at highly optimised cost. We have served customers of several verticals i.e., retail chains, IT/ITES, manufactures, medical and hospitality.  We have helped them disrupt their traditional processes and leverage the strength of AI, Data Analytics , IoT and hybrid Cloud.
Today, Arrow PC Network is positioned well in the Indian IT services industry supporting our customers PAN INDIA as well as off shores. We have in-house expertise to manage Datacentre modernisation, data protection, enterprise networking security and automation."
--Gurpreet Singh, MD,  Arrow PC Network

"During these last few years we have gone through a phase of change in context with dependency from Desktop to Laptops and to a larger extent to cellphones.  Cellphones have also undergone a sea change from simple to complex and smart phones. These now a days have the capability to replace PC and laptop in a larger usability roles and are performing most of the applications on hand held devices.
Now in current scenario arising out of Corona, which is here to stay with us, businesses may see a greater shift to smartphones and availability of product and may force consumer to shift to brands which carry non-China stamp.
In coming months cash crunch may hamper a lot of small and medium businesses and may end up in selling on lowest ever margins and may be linked directly to after sale support quality."
Navin Gupta, President, JCDA, Jammu

"A positive step by Govt but not really conducive for India, considering the high rate of illiteracy, people’s reaction not very favourable. However, personally it’s been good for my company as many more avenues of accepting payments via wallets like paytm etc. are available.   Then again digitisation has to be accompanied by high turnover and conducive business climate,  which the government has failed to provide."
--Julian John,   CEO, Zion Technologies

Digital

"Digital is now new way of life. From business  to banking transactions  to even buying vegetables, is now through digital. The world has become small through technology."
--RK Bansal, MD, Uniline

Digital

"Technology  has  gained pace due to  advancements  in technology. Without  the digital  infrastructure many  things  wouldn't have  taken  place.  Digital wallets again  is a consequence  of technology  and is a natural progression.  Thanks to Mobile  telephony we are  able to have  so many  conveniences."

--R Sridhar , Triangle Technologies, Bangalore
On the whole, the mood is upbeat on the Digital india's prospects in the country. However, we must not forget that there are still large tracts of areas in the country where people don't have basic access to Internet, computer and even round the clock electricity. We must not rest till all these areas receive the same facilities as we in the better-provided cities.
