Channel partners are waiting for Good and Service Tax reforms to be implemented which has been proposed by government, which will improve revenue and growth of the country .
GST, which seeks to subsume indirect taxes like services tax, excise and local levies, "GST is a national agenda, said, Arun jaitley, finance minister said. "Therefore we must pass it come what may in July”, added Jaitley.
Lok Sabha has approved the GST bill, but it could not pass muster in Rajya Sabha and was referred to a select committee for scrutiny.
According to finance minister, India becomes one uniform market where there is a seamless transfer of goods and services. He further added that, “states' share of revenue will go up and economic activity and growth will also improve.”
Rajkumar Dugar of Rajhans electronics commenting on the same said, “VAT or GST requirement is uniformity and execution of tax in proper way. We are really happy and waiting for tax reform to be implemented soon as it will improve business models as well as online model.”
Partners are hopeful and expecting that government soon will be able to implement GST.
“It’s been long time GST implementation is in process. It is good to hear that GST bill has moved one step further and we are looking to get rid of complicated tax systems with the introduction of GST, “said Swarn Singh, secretary of ADCTA.
As per government, GST is going to create India into a one unified market and (promote) free flow of goods and services, facilitate free trade, going to improve revenues of the states, going to improve revenues of Centre, going to improve India's GDP, then nobody should get a thrill in delaying GST.
Dushyant Mehta of Mediamen showed his happiness saying that moving step by step government will reach to final result of execution of GST soon. “One time tax should be in line not only nationally but internationally to create uniformity on cost price of products.” He added
GST will be welcomed open heartily by everyone whether it’s a consumer, trader, retailer or any business person.
The finance Minister referred GST as the biggest tax reform in the country since India's independence , which would add more points to the country's economic growth and wiil be an ease for traders and consumers too.
