Winners of this year's Green IT awards were announced at an awards ceremony
held on Earth Day, in London. Sponsored by Green IT Magazine, the awards
recognize the outstanding environmental products, suppliers and projects of 2009
and highlight the companies and teams that have made significant contributions
to improving the IT industry's environmental performance.

“We are proud that two of Raritan's key power management solutions have been
recognized by the prestigious Green IT Awards. Today, as organizations move
towards the Green IT movement and understand what is happening within their IT
environment in terms of power consumption, the demand for green products is
rising,” said Sanjay Motwani, Regional Manager-India and Middle East, Raritan.

“The Government of India's initiatives to be the world's first market for
trading in energy savings will also give impetus to green products. It is our
goal at Raritan to help customers reduce energy costs and their carbon footprint
by providing them a systematic, auditable approach through our green
technology,” Motwani further added.

Dominion PX intelligent PDU helps datacenters measure power usage
accurately. It provides unique power information to help answer key datacenter
questions, such as 'where servers should be placed for optimal efficiency,' and
'which rack has available capacity'. Customers have a better understanding of
how much and how their datacenters consume energy and, as a result, can take
steps to improve efficiency and track improvements.

Power IQ collects and analyzes energy data of IT equipment connected to
Raritan's Dominion PX PDU and third-party Ethernet-enabled intelligent rack PDUs,
as well as datacenter temperature and humidity.
