Reliance and former Vodafone executives launch app to cut bill

Selecting a network plan that suits pocket often seems like a Herculean task. Understanding the drudgery involved a new web-cum-mobile application-based service promises making searching for the best telecom network and tariff plan that mobile phone users should opt for easy.

Two former top executives of Vodafone India and Mukesh Ambani, owned Reliance Jio Infocomm have teamed up to launch Billbachao, which notifies mobile phone users about the operator which has the best connectivity in the area and the tariff plan that suits them on the basis of their individual profiles.

Jonathan Bill, who worked for Vodafone India and is the managing director and co-founder of Billbachao, that the app can help users save up to 25% on their tariffs - whether it's prepaid or postpaid - with the same operator. "The app also has recommendations for the most optimum network based on where you live, work and travel," he said.

Co-founder Arvind Rao, who worked with Reliance Jio Infocomm as its innovation head, said it was just the right time for him and Bill to launch the company.
