Reliance Jio users can get up to 168GB free data

Reliance Jio has launched yet another lucrative offer for its subscribers. However, this one is only for those who own a Vivo smartphone.

As part of its new 'Vivo Jio Cricket Mania' offer, the telco is offering Jio subscribers who own a Vivo smartphone up to 168GB of 4G data. It will work with any other data pack that a subscriber is already using.

To avail the offer, a Vivo smartphone user has to first register for the Cricket Mania offer. At the time of registration, they can select their favorite team and send a message from their Jio number. As part of the promotion, users will get free data whenever their selected team wins, loses or even if the match involving it ends up in a draw. If the team supported by the user wins, they get 3GB of data. If the team loses, 1GB of free data is awarded. For matches that end in a draw, users will get 2GB of data.

Reliance Jio will double the data if the team supported by a user reaches qualifiers. If the team advances to finals and wins it, data will be tripled and quadrupled respectively. The telco says that by the end of the series, users will get 168GB of 4G data.

The offer is already live and will end on May 10. It's worth noting that if users register after April 30, the data benefit will be reduced by 50%. Reliance Jio has said that it will credit the data earned by a user over the next ten recharges as multiple data boosters.

Earlier today, an online report suggested that Reliance Jio subscribers will get 15% discount on AirAsia tickets. The offer is said to be valid on both domestic and international tickets.

According to the report, customers can avail the discount on Air Asia's mobile app. It's valid from June 20 to September 30.
