Samsung strengthens its overall leadership position by launching a range of innovative products in the smartphones, digital appliances, and visual devices categories and also for the enterprise business, at Samsung South West Asia Forum 2015.
Forum is Samsung’s flagship event which showcases its select partners and customers the technology and solutions which will drive Samsung’s growth in the region.
India is one of the key markets for Samsung where it has emerged as the number 1 company across different product categories. The country has also seen launch of its iconic products based on evolving needs and unique customer insights. In the past 20 years of its operation in India, Samsung has set up 2 manufacturing plants and 3 R&D facilities employing close to 45,000 people.
“In 2015, we plan to introduce path-breaking technology across different categories of products, which will enhance consumer experience and strengthen our position in the market,” said HyunChil Hong, president and CEO, Samsung India Electronics.
“Samsung will continue to manufacture its products in India reinforcing its commitment to Make for India. In 2015, Samsung will continue to push technology boundaries and help consumers to create a better tomorrow,” said Hong.
India is a key strategic market for Samsung and the company has done iconic launches of its products like GALAXY E7, E5 and the first Tizen powered smartphone Z1 in the country. The company has recently announced expansion of Samsung India Electronics’ state-of-the-art mobile phone plant in Noida. The new phone "Samsung Z1" will also be manufactured at the Noida facility with most of the phone’s software being developed at the Noida Research Centre.
Through its broad product range, Samsung demonstrated how it is bringing consumers seamless navigation, intuitive control and smart solutions into the home and workplace.
Samsung also continued to combine its technical expertise and innovation to bring consumers a new range of products designed to enhance and simplify modern living.
