Wipro appoints Abid Ali as president and COO

Wipro has appointed TCS veteran Abid Ali Neemuchwala as the group president and chief operating officer. The appointment will be effective April 1, 2015, said the Bangalore-based Wipro. Abid will be responsible for Wipro businesses include global infrastructure services, business application services, business process services and advanced technology solutions.
