Xolo unveils HIVE based Omega 5 and 5.5

Xolo continues to push its HIVE platform with new budget smartphones Omega 5.0 and 5.5.

Available in two variants, 5-inch and 5.5-inch, Omega phones are powered by MediaTek octa-core processor and  Xolo’s proprietary HIVE platform.  The Omega 5.0 is priced at Rs.  8,999 while the Omega 5.5 is priced at Rs. 9,999.

The Xolo Omega5.0 has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It features Hive UI based on  Android Kitkat v4.4 and is powered by a  1.4 GHz Octa Core Processor with Mali-450MP4 graphics and 1GB of RAM. It sports an 8.0 MP camera with Sony Exmor R sensor and 5P lens, and 2MP front camera. Holds 8GB internal memory and supports 32GB expandable storage and is powered by a 2100 mAh battery.

The Xolo Omega 5.5 has 5.5-inch HD IPS display. It is clocked at 1.4 GHz Octa Core processor with Mali-450MP4 graphics, 1GB of RAM and HIVE Inside built on Android Kitkat v4.4. It is powered by a 2600 mAh battery.

To make you groove both Omega phones come with Yamaha amplifier along with DTS support.
